41. Teamwork

Because everybody knows the greatest example of a team is an RPG party!

...Orrrr not.

Well, it's the most fun example, at any rate.

So here's my current party in a Star Wars RPG campaign I'm running.

From left to right:

Koor Bik the Ewok: An excitable, mischievous little fellow, Koor was accidentally taken off of the forest moon of Endor as a wokling, and had many varied adventures throughout the galaxy before landing a secure job as first mate on the Determination. Highly intelligent, but also highly impulsive. Enjoys learning to use new kinds of technology, especially weaponry. (Played by my best friend.)

X32V2 the Droideka: XV's adventures began when it found itself in a cargo crate in the hold of the Determination with its memory wiped. Discovered by Koor and Beyy, it quickly fell under Koor's ownership and is seeking to uncover its forgotten past. It can make a mean batch of biscuits. (Played by .)

Jesik Gadra the Mandalorian: His sister having been murdered several years previous, and him being an outcast from Mandalore, Jesik is wandering the galaxy, tracking down his sister's killer, trying to prove himself to the other Mandalorians (especially his father), and trying to make a name for himself on the bounty hunting scene. Which is how he fell in with the motley crew of the Determination. (Played by .)

Beyy Yaret the Bothan: A cunning, cautious smuggler who captains/pilots the freighter Determination. Despite preferring to keep a low profile, he has a soft spot for his fuzzy little first mate, and so lets Koor get away with a lot more than he should. He has a slight superiority complex when it comes to species less furry than he (including Humans, which he refers to as "Humies"). (NPC played by yours truly.)

???: A mysterious cloaked being whose true intentions and abilities are unknown; it seemingly randomly decided to assist Jesik on Tatooine and is now traveling with the crew. Despite its cloak usually concealing its entire body, the crew has seen its true face once--it was unsettling and like nothing they had ever seen before. (Also played by yours truly.)

This was fun, I know there are several problems with it, but ah well. It's also a gift for everybody involved in the campaign, as thanks for playing with me and sticking it out while I try to figure out what I'm doing.

Also, remind me to never attempt to draw any droid more complicated than an R2 unit ever again. I'm aware that there are several glaring problems with the Droideka, but I was working off of whatever reference pictures I could find.

I do like the way the metal came out, though.
